Health WorkForce Information Center
Learn about scholarships, fellowships, loan repayment programs, and educational opportunities. In addition, students can read overviews of over 80 health professions, including descriptions of educational requirements, employment outlook, and certification requirements.

MCAT® Updates
The 2010 MCAT schedule is now available and registration for January 2010 to May 2010 is now open. You might also want check out a couple of updated MCAT resources from the AAMC: 2010 MCAT Essentials (PDF) and the MCAT Deadline and Score Schedule.

Summer Medical and Dental Education Program
The Summer Medical and Dental Education Program (SMDEP) is a free six week summer academic enrichment program for freshman and sophomore college students who are interested in a career in medicine or dentistry. The application opens November 1, 2009 and the application deadline is March 1, 2010, so apply early!

Latino College Dollars
This Web site offers a scholarship directory that lists all regional organizations that award grants and scholarships targeting eligible California Latino students. An initiative of the Tomás Rivera Policy Institute (TRPI), this nonprofit organization advances informed policy on key issues affecting Latino communities through objective and timely research contributing to the betterment of the nation.

Association of Black Cardiologists, Inc.
Founded in 1974, the Association of Black Cardiologists, Inc., (ABC) is a nonprofit organization with an international membership of 2,500 health professionals, lay members of the community (Community Health Advocates), corporate members, and institutional members. The ABC is dedicated to eliminating the disparities related to cardiovascular disease in all people of color. Today, the ABC's public and private partnerships continues to increase its impact in communities across the nation.

AAMC Fee Assistance Program
The AAMC Fee Assistance Program (FAP) assists MCAT® examinees and AMCAS applicants who, without financial assistance, would be unable to take the MCAT or apply to medical schools that use the AMCAS application.
